a playable demo of superman returns is now out on the marketplace

the game isnt bad once i got used to the controls,i will proberbly pick it up whenever it comes out

D-pad-up(fire)
D-pad-left(wind)
D-pad-right(freeze)

right trigger use Dpad powers


Y button -take off/land

right shoulder button-speed


these buttons should get you started,the full set is shown when loading the game


hope some of you download this,interested i am ;) ,in your views

PS,it is about 980mb in size(i watched an episode of xfiles while waiting)

Well i downloaded the demo, and to be honest it didnt blow me away at all, the controls were a bit fiddly (having to switch to a super power for a start, and not have each of them on a specific button)
It just didnt feel like it had any depth in it, when you lifted a car of something it just felt empty, how about a power bar for how hard to throw it?
The Graphics look pretty bad, Resident Evil 2 on th old PSone looks better than this and considering this is on a 360 , the next Gen console, I expect to be blown away graphically with any title that goes into my console.
Cant help but feel this is just a post movie cash-in and I would feel completely robbed if I had spend 50 sheets on it.

same here. I downloaded it, and played it for only about 5 minutes before I turned it off. I'm glad I decided to play the demo first, it would have sucked to buy that thing.

i liked the flying......but with the shitty islands,i really wanted to go into town,but yeah controls are a bit shite,it got better when i was used to it

the people as well,didnt look that different from one another,GTA san andreas was better

may wait until its a platanium or classics whatever,until i get this,and thats only provided i can then go flying where i want

I downloaded this last night and played it, it was what i expected as far as a super hero game is concerned.
I thought the graphics were ok, but a little on the cartoonish side, but i can live with it.
This game does have potential though, in the retail version you will be able to play as Bizzarro(sp?) Superman and kill everyone and wreak havoc in Metropolis.
I'll probably get this one.

hmmm, my comments didn't post, so will try this aain.

Please note this about the demo. This is the E3 demo that was released months ago. The game was then delayed from June until November for more changes, so I expect the game will be better than this demo.

You will be able to fly even higher in the game than the demo. I heard about 2 miles up, where all of Metropolis can be seen from the sky. Also breaking the sound barrier is just fun!!!

Unless its a coop which I doubt it will be . Probably a 1 player game .
I do not know but maybe someone might fill us in .
