this coming friday i am going to go and see the new james bond film, casino royale.....it looks good, and can i just say that i was weary of there being a blonde bond in the shape of daniel graig...until i saw MUNICH(if you saw munich,it was the part where he killed that naked woman with the gun that was disguised as a bicycle pump)

now i think he will do a fine job...cant be any worse than george lazenby

i am a big fan of james bond, and have just finished collecting all of the double disc james bond films(i gave my dad the one disc collection i already had)

but what do you think?

do you think daniel craig can cut it as 007?

whats your favourite james bond film?,gadget,theme,car....and/or woman?

oh and who was your favourite james bond<<<most important question

mine was sean connery, although i grew up watching the roger moore bonds, and my favourite bond film is live and let die(and the soundtrack...paul mccartney)..i still think connery in the first 3 bonds was great

I hopefully will be checking the out the Film next weekend, I am not a massive bond fan although I do like throughly them whenever they are on, I am like you Orph, I grew up under the Roger Moore era, but I think Connery was the best although I did like what Bosnan did for James bond series. Daniel Craig I feel will do a good job, we all know this is meant to be a much more vicious Bond and Craig does have those evil eyes. 1st time I saw Craig was in Layer Cake,(and by the time I saw it, it was known he had got the bond role) and I thought, he could pull this off, he has the suavness and and skill you would need 2B Bond.

This is gonna sound like Randhal from Clerks, but here is a thought. Throughout Bond's history, he has avoided all these gruesome deaths, lowered into a pool of sharks, under the rocket booster on a space shuttle, left to be eaten by crocodiles, falling into a cocaine grinding machine etc.. In Goldeneye that Onatop bird (Famke Janssen...MMm Famke Janssen) tried to kill him in the sauna by crushing him between her thighs, It is understood the 007s luck will run out sometime and he will die at the hands of the bad guy in some gruesome fashion, Now if I was Bond I would think, Ok at some point I am gonna die in the line of duty and considering how I could have died, Going between this chick thighs this aint gonna be a bad way 2 go. I dont know about you but I would have cashed my chips there!

Sorry to sound like a cracked record, but I grew up with Roger Moore as Bond and Live and let die was one of my favourites because of the soundtrack. Connery will allways be "The Bond" in my opinion, didn't really like Daulton and Brosnan. What was the Bond film Connery was in that wasn't part of the franchise the one with Kim Bassinger in it.

I dunno but did you guys read a while back how P. Diddy(or whatever he's going by now) said about James Bond? He said that they needed to add some black to him. He then added that he wouldn't mind playing the part of James Bond.

Now I'm not a racist. But wouldn't that seem kind of odd seing an African American play a British dude? Maybe I'm alone on this one.

Careful now. The last thing we need is him pulling a gun on us if we don't vote for him. He couldn't act to save his life anyway.
We will never die alone. The Carnival will carry on. Swing our hatchets if we must. Each and everyone of us.

yeah it was never say never again, because of some legal shit over thunderball,so the other people 're-made' thunderball, and it came out the same year as octopussy, but octopussy still did better making 183million

it was called never say never again becasue connery had said after his last james bond film diamonds are forever...will he ever play james bond again...he replied..never!!

we have a black guy at work and he said he would play james bond,i laughed and said....a black james bond???...and he said yeah...i said you cant have a black james bond....thats like making shaft white

i wonder what what happen if jim carrey got the role of shaft,LOL

yeah and he also had that glassey stare

lets talk...on her majestys secret service...i think this one has a great script, and cast.....just one problem...a bad choice for a bond,an australian named george lazenby, who had to be completely dubbed througout the film, because of his aussie accent(even though he had been living and working in england for some time)...he wasnt that bad really, just not as good as the others, and it didnt help when it was half way through the production that george lazenby said that this was to be his only bond

sean connery-scottish
george lazenby-australian
roger moore-english
timothy dalton-welsh
pierce brosnan-irish
daniel craig-english

oh and it had a cool new different bond theme...as well as louis armstrongs last ever recording for the bond song 'what a wonderful world'

ok,cars....your favourites?

mine is the lotus turbo esprit...the white one that goes under the water...my mate had a the toy corgi car of it,but he wouldnt let me play with it,so i smashed it up with a brick,LOL

Favourite gizzmo on a car is probably the electric shock handles on his BMW 7 series. I had a 7 series for a while with Clifford intelistart on it, used to scare the shit out of traffic wardens.

on the same note as a black james bond,it is interesting to note that felix leiter is now black in the new casino royale film(this being a prequel on how bond got his 00 number)

felix leiter was last seen in license to kill being fed to the sharks by robert davi where he then later died

still gonna mess things up though as in Dr.No is where he first met felix

There are gonna be continuity errors, another being that M is still Judy Dench (amazing actress) when a new female M was acknowledged in Goldeneye, but I think we will let that go as it looks like it will just be an awesome film,
