We've been told that the demo gives players "a taste of one of the early levels in the game: the TIE Fighter Construction Facility, under siege by a Jedi General named Rahm Kota.
"The Secret Apprentice has been sent by Darth Vader to hunt down and destroy the General, but is also told that, in order to remain a secret, he is to leave no witnesses."
Also included in the demo is a tutorial intended to teach players how to use their Force Grip power (snigger). So everything that was pretty much expected then.
in case you CAN be arsed clicking on the link, then here it is

the actual demo to play took about 20 minutes at the most, includeing the tutorial
i enjoyed it,Force pushing the doors open (B button)was great
i am concerned however that it may become a little repeditive, seems all i was doing was force pushing this and that(only using my actual sabre and lightning every now and then)..hopefully there will be a few more puzzles, and not just some that requires you to slide a lock to the left using the force
i did notice a little slow down in places, but thankfully this is only a demo
and i have no idea why it shows up all the blue boxes everywhere showing you what you can use with the force, looks silly....just let those boxes turn up when we press RT,or not at all,and let us find out ourselves what we can use the force on
not sure about any of you,but i could reflect laser blasts coming at me.,...that should be in there

someone has just posted his theory of what will happen in this story of the Force unleashed, and what he said sounds quite good....as he heard there was a

so,the PS3 demo is 1355mb in size,compared to the 360s 905mb
so i downloaded it from PSN to see what the difference was..apart from the thumbnail movie when on the XMB nothing(did you get your 80gig PS3 skin?)
perhaps a little smoother while playing but nothing that is mega different,i did however find out how to throw your lightsabre, like skin said press RT and press X(or R2 and press Square if on the PS3)...but i still ant to be able to reflect laser blasts(without having to run away or stand still)..the PS3 controller felt a lot unnatural as well, for me anyway
there is no online for the full game,so play through the story(once or twice on different difficulties) and then thats it...so me thinking this could be a week or two keeper

I cant see this game having alot of replay value. I will play it on the normal setting but i cant see myself doing the harder level. the more i think about it, the more i think this game might not have the "wow" factor. i am hoping i will be wrong, but i cant see how this game will have alot of depth to it
Didnt get my PS3 yet Orph, pay day is the 29th,

the following is prolly the most complicated i will be getting at killing someone
force hold stormtrooper in the air -RT...then throw lightsabre at them to impale them....X button..and then force lightning just to make sure they are dead...Y button...and then throw them away
the following is prolly the way i will kill people when other people are watching me and i wanna show the game off
see Tie Fighter suspended on the rail...Force lift and throw in direction of enemies
and this is what i did today while i was playing and experimenting
get to the place where the Tie Fighters are flying past, instead of bending that metal into its path...why not pick up one of those pesky Rebels who is firing at you and suspend him into the air,and into the Tie Fighters path
thats how i kill people!!!!
force push...lightsabre...or throwing my lightsabre into a crowd of enemies and wait for it to come back to me
thats about it for the ways that i will kill enemies...now and then i will throw a guy of a balcony,or throw a Tie Fighter at them...but thats it,and thats how i will be progressing through the story(apart from those shite button press sequences like you do against the AT-ST)
EDIT:oh and skin its just that i thought you said that you get paid on the same day the 80gig came out(which was today..yesterday even)thats why i thought you had it already
someone told me they are selling 60gig BC ps3s in GAME pre-owned...just incase,ya wanted to know
EDIT:EDIT:oh and Pogue, yes the game is coming to the Wii as well...just not a demo

Man, it doesnt bode well for Force Unleashed if Wnchstr (the biggest SW fan here) aint doing cartwheels about this game.
I saw you playing the Demo then shortly after you on Mass Effect, i though "hmm, hes not playing thru it again and again and again? that dont look good"
I am feeling more and more that this game just aint gonna live up to hype, its gonna be remembered as a good game but not a great game. The more i think about this, the more i am tempted to wait and see how everyone else gets on with b4 i part with my hard earn (well all know what a tough customer i am when it come to game
Yeah Orph, I thought the PS3 was coming on the 29th (which is my payday) but evidently they have brought it forward a week, probably due to the bank holiday, make good business sense, a longer weekend for people to play/buy them. I have seen the 60Gb at game.com 350notes, but I have no requirement for what it does over the 40/80Gb version
and now back to our main broadcast...

Yeah I'm having difficulties with throwing shit where I want it to go. I mostly ran around just mashing the X button, as opposed to throwing people around. I also dislike the idea of combo moves, and that stupid AT-ST was really pissing me off. Graphicly / story wise, I'm siked, however I've wanted this game to come out so bad, that it turns out, it was not the game I was looking for. hahaha. Don't get me wrong, I will buy it when it comes out, and play through it many times, it will become 1 more game in my SW game collection, for which I do believe I have them all in one format or another, be it PC, xbox, etc. Playing the short as hell demo has me craving some KOTOR, so maybe, just maybe, I will fire up the old xbox, blow the dust of Knights of the Old Rebulic case and waste a Saturday in some Star Wars addicted fix.
