old news i know,but i forgot to post it up here..so just for those who didnt know the new grand theft auto 4 teaser trailer is available on the marketplace for 300marketplace points

okay,only joking,its free

for the last two weeks or so,rockstar.com have been counting down on their GTA4 site to this event,it reached zero yesterday....hours,maybe minutes later the same trailer appeared on xbox marketplace,so,kudos to MS for that

must say,i think this game looks great,nice graphics,seems as though the main charcater this time is a russian(or at least east european)

and keep an eye out for signs,billboards etc...seems this new adventure is set in......liberty city,again

holy cow!!...i wanna go on that rollercoster...the screamer

the trailer is only a minute long at about 56mb or so,so it wont take long to download...so go do it!!

there have been a lot of rumours flying around...'its not liberty city its new york'...okay,yeah it has the landmarks of NY,but i think the statue of 'liberty' was another clue...liberty city was always a copy of new york anyway,just like san andreas was LA(or california),and Vice city was miami..and as i said,if you pause it in the right places,you can see liberty in a few more scenes...'liberty tree' on a bilboard,'liberteen' on a building,but it was the ferry terminal part that struck it for me...it says 'Fer y terminal'...to the right in that ,there is a building/ferry that says liberty on it..could be from liberty if a boat,but,above the ferry terminal sign there is another sign that says ' iber y'.......missing the L and the T...liberty

'maybe you can travel to the old cities',this came about because of the new york thing with it actually saying liberty city on the boat..maybe,again it came from liberty city

i am not gonna rule out new york,they did have a real city for one of their games in the past...london,in the swinging 60's,if you remember that for the PS1

..sticking with the time setting,it was rumoured(before the trailer)that it was gonna be set in the 70's,but with those cars,it looks as though it could be up to date....although the russians clothing(if he is russian),could very well be form the 70's.but you no how middle to eastern europeans dress..LOL

I'm a huge GTA fan, especially Vice City, best game of all time. Anywho the thing is I have never played it on a Xbox. I know I've seen it on Xbox and thought to myself WOW that is way better than PS2. It just seems like every week another excuse comes up for me to go and get a 360. I guess I could sell my truck.

sell anythign you can to get one,hang around for a few minutes and maybe we will get some spam post on how to sell your sperm,LOL

and the GTA3,vice sity and san andreas are all backwards compatible on the 360,just incase you are wondering,they are the few of the original xbox 1 games i have (halo 1 and 2,KOTOR 1 and 2 ,MGS2 and battlefront 1 and 2)

I'm still hoping Rockstar will take out a GTA MMORPG. Hopefully the soundtrack for GTA 4 is as good as Vice and Andreas.

oh yeah, Vice City was my favorite. I especially liked the soundtrack for that one.

just make sure you empty the gas tank out before you sell it since that is a high $$ now adays. is this new one going to be online playable?

rumour that it is gonna be online,but mainly focus on single player...the online is of course co-op and saints row type deathmatch...i have even heard that there is gonna be capture the flag style game..or land grab game...but again,all of it is just rumours,nothing has been announced yet

Well I finally saw the trailer (had to go to Rockstar site), but it looks fricken awesome. I just hope it stays more truer to Vice instead of San Andreas. Not that it was bad. The whole gangsta thing was sort of a dissapointment. I would rather be a two-bit thug anyday.

-Multiplayer is set to be announced.

-You can use a cellphone to call your contacts.

-Apparently there are no planes because there is only one city in the game.

-You have a lot of choice over what you want to do. You still have to take orders from people during missions, but you can also choose how you want to spend your time, e.g "I want to hang out with him, or her... I want to go see this guy 'cause he always has something to do..."

-The story unfolds in a number of different ways. R* is giving people more freedom, more choice and more sense of control over their destiny - the structure of the storyline is quite different to previous games.
