stare at the dot until the picture changes...when the picture does change you will see the correct colours of the photo....but only until you move your eyes,the longer you eyes keep still the longer the colour stays..as soon as you move your eyes however the picture will go to Black and White

not sure how it works,its prolly something to do with your blind spot,not sure..well,i dunno
(it should start with the picture as different shades of blue)

Hey all, I now I haven't been on in a long time but I've been really busy growing my side business lately and haven't had time for gaming.

My son has been playing the sh*t out of Battlefront lately, and it was making me miss the good ol' days.

you know i love my Beatles right?(however remember that the only good things to come out of Liverpool is The Beatles and the East Lancashire Road-that connects Liverpool to Manchester,LOL)

well,in the mid 90s Beatlemania had started up again in some ways here in the UK,as they had new albums and songs out..i had already been a Beatle fan for about 5 years before but now was the time to go to Liverpool(just 45 minutes away)

that day,we went to where John,Paul,George and Ringo used to live....i had a smoke on Penny Lane,a beer in the Cavern(which i believe is the new cavern)..and i jumped the gates of Strawberry Fields and had a piss in there

remember that these pics are from 15 years ago(i think i was about 20 years old),so i look nothing like them anymore,LOL

the story

in 1994/5 i bought Two Chipmunks as i used to live in a bedsit(remember Rising Damp sit com?,well like that)

i named the two chipmunks Cigarettes and Alcohol(after the Oasis song,and i used to drink and smoke as well at the time.so i thought why not)

then for a few days i didn't see the female chipmunk for ages,and wondered what had happened to her,so i went into there cage,opened up the box where they slept and 8 little faces looked up at me...she had 7 babies...so i ended up with 9 chipmunks,i bought another big cage,connected the two together and thats where they lived

the kids/babies however could always squeeze through the bars when they finally investigated outside...when i came home from work one day my neighbour who lived oppersite me,ran out as i got to my door and she shouted me over,when i got there she said,i am sorry but i think you have got Rats..as she had seen them running up and down my curtains

after i finished laughing,i told her i had chipmunks

when i got to my room,i opened the door and it looked like i had been overwhelmed with rodents...they were everwhere,on top of the curtain rails,on top of the cupboards and wardrobes..it was quite a surreal time

in one of the photos you will see a white chipmunk(Albino i guess,i think it had pink eyes as well)...i loved that little guy,he was the only Chipmunk that didn't bite me(the others were vicious little shits i can tell you...i had to wear gloves when picking them up)...that white one was picked on by all the others,i mean they really had a go at him,so that little white chipmunk would always stay on my shoulder,while the other stayed in the cage..out of their way,and he seemed to like it there(kinda like that guy in The Abyss with the Rat on his shoulder all the time-if you have seen that movie...good film,you should see it if you haven't-James Cameron film)

my Cousin took them all off me after a year or two,he had a big avery type cage in his back garden

30 years,Jesus wept...if that doesn't make you feel old then i dunno what will

i was 4 years old when this was released in the cinema,and although it is the best of the star wars movies(you can argue if you wish,but you will be wrong)...it wasn't until 3 years later with Return of the Jedi that i actually first saw a star wars movie at the cinema(1983)...and not for another 14 years after that until i actually saw The Empire Strikes Back on the big screen in 1997...although that was the special edition

i always,with friends grew up thinking that Obi Wan Kenobi(Ben)was Luke's Uncle....not sure where the rumour came from
...and in a way being his real fathers 'best friend'..he was like a fake uncle that so many people grow up with

somehow,again not sure everyone knew that Lukes Father and Obi Wan had a lightsabre fight in the past,but not for another 23 years or so would we see it

it was the Empire Strikes Back that first started planting the seeds of what happened

in 1977 when Star wars was first released,i think it was not even labeled as episode 4 until after it was a success(not sure about that TBH,i think that's true)...it was Empire with its Episode 5 that people started to reflect on the whole story

oh,and get this...an unknown thing for Hollywood films.....the bad guys win at the end of this one!!

Halo Reach Beta

Ok, as some of you know, CODMW2 has pissed me off to the point I actually put Halo ODST back in the tray. So, with that, I gave the Halo Reacharound Beta a shot. Now, I'm no fan of Halo3 online, but I was doing much better at Reacharound, than MW2 that's for sure. I have actually enjoyed what little I've played. Not only have I enjoyed it, but I actually won a free for all match. Some of the game types use a class system, which IMO really seperates it from previous Halo's. It has several different game modes, and you get to pick the type of player you want to play against, like aggressive or casual. Now I'm no critic, so I will depend on someone else to give a accurate review. I'm simple, so I will say so far I like it. If you still have ODST, give it a shot, you might be impressed. It's not like it will cost you anything and you'll get a free hoodie. At the very least, look at the videos on Live. (However, you will mess up the button layout for awhile though, I sure did)

Oh man if only they did this around here. G4TV held a charity car wash this weekend for the Make a Wish foundation. In case you're not familiar make a wish foundation is for usually terminally ill children where they get to have a dream play out. Some kids chose to like go to disneyland or make a video game i think one kid did. One kid wanted to hunt a bear. Anyway here are pics and videos.

DVDs are for me at least still new,or at least feel new,it was only in 1999 that i started with DVDs,and absolutely gobsmacked by them,whether it was the inclusion of Subtitles(which is a big plus for me),no need to use the tracking feature like you did on VCRs so always a pretty clear picture,no rewinding,extra features,audio commentaries(which for big movie buffs,can be the best part of the package-you hear that Spielberg!!)....VHS never stood a chance after this

when i first got my DVD player,which actually was quite big,i can't remember the name of the player,but it was pretty cheap for its time(200 quid)..and was the only one i would of been able to afford

the first DVD i got at the same time,was actually a great DVD(not just meaning the film),it had animated menus which still aren't as common and on every DVD today,it had an audio commentary where you could see the heads of those talking,as though you were in a cinema with them..and of course it had all the other features

you can't see it here,but the Stay Puft Marshmellow man walks about this menu screen,in between the buildings

my first DVD as you can see was Ghostbusters

my first CD came with my first CD personal stereo made by SANYO-actually i got 2 CDs with the personal stereo

the first was The Blues Brothers Soundtrack,being a big Blues Brothers fan,i love this CD

and the other was an 80s CD,which the only songs of the dozen or so i knew was Ultravox -Vienna,and Huey Lewis and The News-The Power of Love
