Yeah, LA always tries to be 'clever' when it comes to announcements. Like they always tried to make us think in the past that they were going to release BFIII or KOTOR III. But they end up announcing something we already know.

LucasArts Games promsies to unveil a new and exciting game based on an existing franchise on Monday.
"Amazing news coming Monday! Super excited! You have no idea how tough it is not to start yelling about it! But it's secret! Until Monday!" The game, they say, will be "awesome news for old school fans."
While it's possible, with the upcoming rerelease of The Secret of Monkey Island, that this could be another reimagining of one of LucasArts classic adventure games, my money is on something more modern.
When Free Radical gave up the ghost last year, concept art for some pretty spectacular Star Wars Battlefront III ideas shook loose.
What I hope happens is that a new developer is named for the Star Wars shooter, one that can bring dark Obi to life.

Well, the first hint is that it will be something Old-School. That pretty much rules out Battlefront.
The second hint is absolutely worthless since we know nothing about the person posting.
The third hint is that it is not specific to a single game title or series.
The only thing I can think of would be that they are bringing back ALL of the games based on SCUM. Possibly through a common interface/emulator the same way that Hasbro Family Game works. Tenticle, Monkey Island, Sam 'n Max, Full Throttle, that would be pretty cool!
I was hoping for the return of Dark Forces, or X-Wing/TIE series, but the third hint kinda rules that out.
Well it probably is Monkey Island but they might just be total jackasses and announce that MMO they've already announced just to piss us off. Xwing would be nice and dark forces/jedi knight. How about the Rogue Squadron games? Maybe another one of those? Rebel Assault? Could be any of those maybe another Maniac Mansion? Or they're just going to bring all the scum games to console

i am replaying Grim Fandango on the PC,but other than that i am not a PC player at all,i am sure some people will be happy with this....but i say its time to shave the bastard!!!
