At E3 2009, Microsoft announced a partnership with Last.fm will bring personalized streaming radio stations right to your Xbox 360. The companies announced Last.fm for Xbox 360 will give Xbox Live users access to millions of songs streaming through Xbox 360, with the ability to create free, personalized radio stations and listen to them with friends in the living room or across the country.

Today, new details have emerged on Last.fm and what you'll get depending on which type of Xbox Live account you have. Speaking to Joystiq, Christina DeRosa, a general manager for Xbox Live, provided the following information:

"Silver users will be able access what we're considering a trial period of three hours a month, which comes with video advertising. Gold users will have unlimited ad-supported access, so they can use it 24 hours a day. There will also be a premium offering on a subscription basis from Last.fm, that will be commercial free and will also have more sophisticated personalization features, like Loved Tracks."
