I had installed this a few weeks ago but wanted to make sure I had it working correctly before I decided to tell you guys. Okay in order to add a profile song you have to go into your User Control Panel and then go to edit personal profile information. Scroll down and you should see Personal Profile song, url, title artist, etc. You will need to know the url for the song you are putting in. If its a song you've uploaded to the media center then let me know which one and ill fix your profile and put that song in.

Okay I've been tweaking a few things here and there. For all members and also for our new members sake I will list what this site contains and a little information about each thing that is on the menus.
Tutorials: These are being updated as I go through each of the features on the site. I have added and updated a few of the entries in the tutorial section and so make sure you read through.
Portal: I have reset the /foum link to lead the portal. The portal is a central hub with latest news information about the last few posts and etc. Its a quick stop for information
Members: The members link provides you with a searchable way to find a member and sort through the members. From there you can access the member's profile or send a message.
Help Desk: This is now fully working. If you have a question you want to ask a mod go to the help desk and post a question and from there a mod will reply to your ticket
Otherworld Radio: This is a section where you can listen to our radio when it is online
Otherworld Media Center: This is a section where you can listen to use uploaded music and even share your own.
Blogs: This section is for user created blogs. Each member of Xbox 360 Gaming World can have their own blog complete with a friendly url where the blog can be accessed. You can choose a layout and then assign how the blocks are laid out. Posting to the blogs is free and is a good way to get other member's interested in what you have to say
Photo Gallery: Each member also has the ability to either post to the public directory images and videos or even post media within their own gallery. Great way to share humorous pics or what not.
Articles: This section is reserved for members to post their own stories, writings or what not.
Links: This section is for members to share links to their favorite sites
Military Engagements: A little mod for members to steal and fight over each others credits, raise an army and attack each other
Arcade: This section is where many flash games that are playable with credits on the site are stored. Feel free to poke in and play around with it.
Gladiator Arena: Here you can fight each other directly without an army
Pets: Raise a pet and fight each others pets

I've added a bbcode so that users can now embed videos from a multitude of sites. As I figure out the coding I'll add more. Currently you can use youtube (the old format again), google video, liveleak, veoh, gametrailers, ifilm, revver, brightcove, myspace, college humor, vsocial, guba, and gumbert. Working on some more. Just press the video button up top or put it in the video brackets.

The Otherworld Media Center is a place to go to listen to music on the site. Users can share their musical tastes on the forum for others to listen to. To access the Otherworld Media Center roll your mouse over the main menu and then click on Otherworld Media Center. Currently users have the ability to create a playlist of 100 songs to play. Once you select what songs to play and click play a popup window will open and your selections will start playing.

Bank Accounts
Bank accounts are where you can safely store credits and get some interest. You are also allowed multiple accounts (up to 5).
You can open a Bank account by selecting the Military Enagaments option. Under there is a subheading "Market." One of the options there is Bank. After Bank in selected there is another option on the bottom of the left menu "Make Bank Account"
You will be asked to name the account. This is necessary since you can have multiple accounts. You are also asked what type of account. Here is the breakdown:
Cheapo - Starting interest rate is 1% - no fees
Mid - Starting interest rate is 5% - fees on Creation of account (says initial deposit and withdrawal fee but there isn't one)
Interest Builder - Starting interest rate is 15% - (says initial deposit and withdrawal fee but there isn't one)
Interest is given once per day. So why have more than one bank account? There is a max that a Bank account can hold. The Max is 9,223,372,036,854,775,808. (that's 2 to the 63 power for all you math geeks)
There are two market items that can be used to affect bank accounts. They can be accessed under Ye Olde Market, then "Market items" on the left menu:
Increase The Interest Rate - This will increase the interest rate on an account owned by you by 5% up to a max of 30% ( I have only tried this on cheapo accounts I am not sure whether the other accounts have different maximums). You can only use this on your first 2 accounts.
Decrease the other's interest rate - This will decrease the interest rate of an account owned by someone else. The ammount it decreases is TBD down to TBD.

Just as a warning if any of you have a large amount of credits on hand. I suggest you put it in a bank account. doing some transactions on the board will cause you to lose all your money.
I know this happens if you buy anything in the gladiator area, but it might happen in other areas as well. As long as you don't have more than 2 billion on hand you should be ok.
For the techies out there:
This problem seems to be because the gladiator arena area uses a 32-bit integer for the credits while the bank and every other area uses a 64-bit integer. If you look at the gladiator shop area you will notice that the Top 10 Richest Attackers notice that the highest numbe ris 2,147,483,647. That is the largest number allowed in a 32-bit number.

General
The battlemod is a mod where people can attack eachother with different types of weapons.
As soon as your EXP gets to 100% you will level up and your HP and Strength both will increased with a number between 1-10.
It is possible for a level 2 member to have the same stats as a level 3 member. You can attack everyone that is alive on the forum unless they have decided to quit the battle system.
You can attack 4 times + 1 more per every 10 levels. Both the number of attacks and the increase per level gain can be set by the admins in the ACP battle settings.
Your waiting time is 3 hours after your attack. This will be reduced with 10 minutes every 10 levels. This waiting and reduction time can be changed in the ACP battle settings
Example: A level 47 can attack 4 + 4: 8 times and has to wait 3hours - (10minutes x 4): 2 hours and 20 minutes before he can attack again.
Now for the specific parts of this mod:
Attacking
You can attack an user by pressing the Attack Link in their profile.
As soon as you attack you will be able to pick a weapon(different strength usage) and attack him with it. Your attack can do 3 things:
1: Miss your opponent - If you miss, your attack you will do 0 damage and gain little EXP.
He will retaliate with a random attack that could harm or kill you.
2: Reduce your opponents HP - Depending on the weapon you have used you take away an X amount of your opponents HP.
However since your opponent is not dead yet he can retaliate with a random attack that could harm or kill you.
3: Kill your opponent - If you kill your opponent you will gain at least 1 frag. Depending on your opponent you can steal frags from him.
I think this is done by the previous attacks your opponent has done(how many kills on a row he has made)*. I am not sure about this though.
*example: if I kill 3 people and Punker kills me then he will gain 1 Frag + steal my 3 frags(the 3 in a row I made)
The higher in level you get the more weapons you can use.
Items
HP/Strength potion: Restores part of your HP or Strength.
There are several levels of potions that restore different amounts of HP or Strength. Does not work when you are dead.
Life potion: Restores part of your HP and Strength.
There are several levels of potions that restore different amounts of HP and Strength. Does not work when you are dead.
Phoenix Down: Revives an user when he is dead with X HP/X Strength(depends on what phoenix down u use).
Can ONLY be used on ANOTHER MEMBER through the sidebar(or in his profile) when you are ALIVE. It wont work in any other combination.
Weapons
There are different types of weapons. When your Strength goes up to an X amount you can see more weapons that you can use.
I will explain 1 type of weapon(the same goes for all other weapons):
The Holy Hand Grenade has a minimum Strength usage of 15. As soon as you have 15 Strength you are able to see and use this weapon.
The Maximum Strength Used shows how much strength this weapon can use.
If you are a higher level player and your strength stats are 14/75 you will NOT see this item.
You have to regain your strength with a potion in order to see the more powerful weapons.
Credits
You can gain Credits in several different ways:
1. For each post/thread you make or you can get an X amount of credits.
2. Through the Guilds(as set by the GM).
3. If you kill your opponent, you will gain a random amount of credits from you opponent.
4. If you win the battle but do not kill your opponent, then you can steal an x amount of credits from the loser.
With this credits you can purchase potions to restore yourself. If you have saved up enough credits you can buy a Guildhouse (will be explained later).
Shop
In the Shop you can buy your potions and see your inventory.
You can also donate credits to another member. If you want to transfer an item you can also do it in the Shop.
Furthermore you can see the Richest Users and your own stats.
Guild
As soon as you gain enough credits you can purchase a Guildhouse.
In the Guild you see several links. If you have not joined a Guild yet you have limited options.
You can see all the guilds out there and try to join them. Once you have joined them you can go in the Guildhouse or Resign from your Guild.
In the GuildHouse you can see several links. I will not explain these links, because there explained already in the subtext.
As a GM you can let members join, kick existing members, change the name of the guild, assign lieutenants and manage the credits that your Guild has.
You can set an X amount of credits that members can withdraw each 24 hours.

Military Engagements - Getting Started
All information here is based on using the game on this site, unless otherwise stated.
Military engagements is an army game which allows you to build an army, attack other armies, and join forces with other armies. Armies are ranked and this system allows you to build up your cash.
In order to join the game you must choose a race. After selecting Military Engagements, you are brought to a page that has a list of all the current players and their ranking. On the left side there is a menu item "Race Picking". Click on that item.
There are 10 races with differing bonus additions and subtractions. This information might be helpful to those already in the game and you should be able to see the races and their bonuses if you choose reset race. Be Careful here though! I believe you will lose men if you change races.
There is a drop down list at the top of the list. Use that to choose your race.
You will then be brought to your base page. It basically tells you about your army.
There are 4 areas you need to build up:
Attack
Defense
Spy
Sentry
Each of these areas has a bonus number associated with it. As you increase your capabilities in this area this number grows
You are then ranked in each of these areas and the combination of those ranks determine your overall rank. You can see your standings on the base page. (See Menu Post - TBD )
When you attempt to attack, spy or sabotage another player that just because they are below you doesn't mean you will win. If you attack in order to win your Attack bonus has to be larger than their defense bonus. If you spy or sabotage your spy bonus has to be higher then their sentry bonus.
This bonus for each area is calculated by combining:
1) Your race additions and or subtractions
2) The number of men you have in that area
3) The Weapons/Armor/ Tools for that area
4) The general technology level in that area.
The general Technology areas are as follows:
Attack - Siege Technology - Upgrade on the Armory page (10?? levels)
Defense - Fortification - Upgrade on the Armory page (10?? levels)
Spy - Covert skill - Upgrade on the Training page (12 levels)
Sentry - none
The tools/weapons are bought on the Armory Page. It is more important that you arm all of your men then to have more powerful weapons (This is according to the softwares website)
There are three ways to increase your army
1) Your unit production gives you a certain number of untrained soldiers every 20 minutes. You can upgrade this number on the training page. I believe there are 20 level with a min level of 0 to a max of 795.
2) Buy Mercenaries. There are a total of 200,000 mercenaries available every 30 minutes (25000 attack, 25000 defense, 150000 untrained). However this is the one resource that is "shared" among all players. In other words once those mercenaries are bought they are not available to anyone else. So make sure you get there first! Important note: There is no way to train untrained mercenaries, they are basically your bantha fodder in battles.
3) Click on your recruiter link. This will supply you with a bunch of untrained soldiers. I have gotten 10,000. It also takes money from you. I am not sure about this but I think it takes all the money you have. I am not sure whether you have to have a certain amount. According to the software's website whether you have a commander or are other peoples commander also affects this but I am not sure how.
Your bonuses also contribute to the money you make every hour. I have read on the software's website that the mercenaries actually deplete your income but I think the attack or defense bonus covers that and then some. Especially, if you have their armor/weapon maxed out.
Updates - times are approximate based on my observation
Rank updates happen twice an hour on :20 :50
You get paid once an hour on the :20
Mercenaries are replenished at :20 :50
Your Unit Production additions happen every 20 minutes at :00 :20 :40

Blogs have changed from the old board. You can now use a forum skin for the blogs. There are various other features including categories and privacy settings. To create a blog go into the User Control Panel and scroll down until you see Create a Blog. Follow the steps and don't forget to make a friendly url. Friendly urls mean that your blog will be able to be linked from
http://www.xbox360gamingworld.com/forum/blogs/yoururl. After that a link will appear in the header that says My Blog where you will be able to edit and post on your blog. Don't forget to play with the content blocks as well.

I have reactivated the RPG system for now. This will be temporary just as a test for new members. I could use some help setting up some of the elements if anyone wants to help out. Feel free to create a character and explore. It needs a whole shitload of work. Right now we're only up with the template that comes with the script. Click the RPG link on the board navigation and then create a character.
